New School Year August

I am excited about this new school year.  I have a small class and a new math series.

I'm not sure about the student's excitement level because they are very quiet, hard working but very quiet.   Maybe it's because we have been doing a lot of beginning of the year testing.

We have Show-N-Tell on Wednesday Mornings, unless that doesn't work for the parents.  I love animals, but please no Snakes--either dead or alive.

We will go to Friday confession on Sept. 7.  We are fortunate to have Father Luke as well as Father Pfannenstiel.  Father Pfannenstiel has asked to begin training the 3rd grade for Mass serving, next week.

We have made our pillow cases for A.R. time.  They get to take them home at the end of the year.

Be sure to sign up for a classroom party if you would like to help with one.

I think we are off to a good start.  Father has nicknamed these guys as the Seven Archangels, so we will learn about the other 4, which we had never heard of before.  So far we have Beau as Saint Michael the Archangel.  I'll keep you posted as the others get named.

Thank you for sharing your child with me as we grow in Christ's love.
